About Us
Capra Falconeri is the scientific name for the Markhor, a majestic wild goat that inhabits the dramatic mountain ranges of Central and South Asia, from the Karakoram to the Himalayas. With its striking spiral horns and remarkable climbing ability, the Markhor stands as the national animal of Pakistan.
Our magazine draws inspiration from the Markhor’s extraordinary story. Once threatened with extinction, the species has made a remarkable recovery through dedicated conservation efforts, proving that resilience and commitment can overcome even the greatest challenges.
That same spirit defines the Pakistan we seek to portray as it re-emerges on the global stage.
Just as the Markhor navigates seemingly impossible cliffs, we, too, push boundaries to explore the places others overlook.
