Black, Ankle-Length Frocks with Vibrant Embroidery and Matching Caps
Black, ankle-length frocks with vibrant embroidery and matching caps, are the most conspicuous part of the Kalash culture. The Kalash are a small group of around 4,000 indigenous people who are different from other Pakistanis in a number of interesting ways. They live in the northern mountains of the Hindu Kush, have their own language and dresses.
